My entire life my family told me I was attractive and could basically get any girl I wanted to. Whenever I go places, people stare at me in disgust. My mother tried to convince me these people were staring at me because they were attracted to me. Instead of offering genuine advice, they'd just tell me I was perfectly fine the way I am.

There is nothing more cruel than the people close to you trying to tell you that you're something you aren't. Because, when you take the blackpill and realize you're nowhere as attractive as your family made you out to be, it'll only hit harder.

my sister said im a chad too. the thing is the longer you have seen a person, the more your brain percieves that person to be more attractive.

This. My parents are always harping me on why I’ve never had a girlfriend. My parents, especially my dad, have the thickest parent goggles. My dad has even gone as far to warn me to not become narcissistic over my looks. I wish they would just leave me alone, it makes everything so much worse. I want to scream when they say things like this.
