The vast majority of the people that tune in to watch the super bowl havent even watched a single football game throughout the rest of the year. They dont even know anything about the teams that are playing except for what state they are from.
I'm trying to watch anime but my boomer parents keep telling me to go watch that shit with them and they literally know nothing about football. People just want to watch that shit because the media said it's the cool hip thing to do, and normies need to conform with society.

I remember watching a gameshow a few years ago and something about the super bowl came up, they asked would you rather watch the superbowl or (something else). She said "watch the superbowl" and people went crazy. Who the fuck cares
 
Those commercials are legit the best part of the Super Bowl. Each spot costs millions to air, so they have to put quality work into them. Otherwise it's a waste of money.

Pretty much man. I haven’t watched a Super Bowl since 2015. The only reason I watched it because my brother was into sports and my mom likes it for the ads. I couldn’t tell you much about either team going at it
