I know in a way, it's supposed to be the United States, but from what it seems the continent it is on wasn't some sort of "new-world" at some point like the Americas were. So the headcannon I came up with for Osea is that it was once part of some big, possibly multi-continental, empire which eventually split-up into smaller republics, kingdoms, etc. But eventually re-unified after some sort of Enlightenment sentiment combined with Revanchism swept the lands. Kind of like what happened in the 19th century in Germany.

Yeah jfl, some East Africans(Ethiopians, Somalis, etc) claim they are just "dark semites" which is complete cope. They do have some degree of West Eurasian in them, but most of their haplogroups, alleles, etc, correlate heavily with other sub-saharans.
