As an average or above average guy with decent height
you could have slayed or gotten a decent LTR  or several girls during this time.

Of course if u were ugly it was ogre.

I think from 2009 is when hell began with Zyzz/Hollywood/Media and others promoting the buff gymcelled abs caze.
This is when femoids standards started going crazy.

From 2009 is also when people started to have smartphones with social media on it.

lucky me, i started high school august 09

I agree with this. I am 33 now and I was in college here in the UK from 2002 - 2005 approx and I was too socially awkward to make anything of it but I had interest from girls ranging from ugly to average to hot. A couple of years into college and one of my friends sister was known as one of the cutest girls there and showed interest in me, as in her friends were asking me to go on dates with her but I was too shy to even respond at the time. This is why I don't believe the confidence pig shit because I was hugely un-confident at the time because before that, in school, where I'm from getting girls was all about who was the toughest or the stupidest which I wasn't so never ha a chance until this point.

The next year I was planning to build up the courage to ask her out but she left for another college and that year some slight young hair loss kicked in and I gained some weight. I saw one of her friends one day and she was with a girl who had just started and I overheard her talk about me and the new girl said "Ewww! Him?! He's like, losing his hair and everything".

The attention from females is in the pits since then. I still look at the girl on Facebook and think what if. But I think we all know what if...

that sucks man.

facebook started it all

Standards probably were a bit better in the early 00s. But I'd still be incel.

Emo subculture was our best shot to get laid. Emasculated, faggy subhumans who didn't have to gymcel could hide half of their faces with hair and fake up was socially accepted there too.

The Iphone fucked the world up so hard.

Without the iphone the internet would still be an loser/incel haven like it was pre 2008

Even a former executive of Facebook literally said that it's ripping society apart.

Tinder is the atomic blackpill provider. The world will never be the same again after this wretched app was released.

Truly the psychological Tsar Bomba of modern times. It's over.

Nah, instead some other tech company will make the smartphone/other ''revolutionary'' social tool (cuz money); and steal the legacy

Can't stop human advancement boi,
time to get blackpilled of the purely synthetic/superficial world sci-fi games prophesize about

Yes this is very true my friends.

I don't think anything changed, but whatever you say, OP.

This, OP is such a coper. Zyzz is the reason you can't get laid? Really?

this also correlates with the decline of runescape

Yeah. Girls wanted to fuck me for my emo hair even though I had a hideous face

I AGREE. my skater hair was the ONLY thing that halo'd me. I actually took pride in not working out and being a tortured soul/loner type with MEAT IS MURDER stickers on my locker and listening to bands like underoath. Running sub-culture game did pay some big social circle dividends back then. I wonder if this option even exists for incels in HS now? Without it, I'd probably be long dead... it was a great way to cope.

I even managed to attract a 7/10 briefly as a senior before getting cucked HARD by an athletic chad lite. It was pretty much all down hill from there. I swallowed the red pill and tried to careermax and ditched the skater aesthetic and scene. Several years later I tried to show off my moderate success by hanging out with this oneitis again. She got drunk and talked to me about this massive arab dude she's fucking and how he has a massive dick and she loves it. That's when I realized my emo days and redpill days were nothing but cope.

2000-2008 less social media, girls didn't compare you to every social media chad like now

Of course they were cope right from the start but I still regret that I didn't try it because I saw really ugly faggots getting laid on a regular basis back then. The only thing that stopped me was my complete dislike of the music of this subculture. I think emo game still exist but in another manifestation. Now rap music got involved in that scene and the products are guys like Lil Peep. Ugly guys could still try it (a lot of cloud/emo rapper are subhumans) but it's not as easy anymore, you must be really dedicated to get yourself face tattoos and do hard drugs every day.

Tinder ruined the dating game for the bottom half of men, I'd say.

IIRC tinder started in 2011 or even a bit later.

I was +1.5 point higher before smartphones

smartphones made me uglier

Social media is to blame most likely. It's a tool females utilize to find the perfect male and disregard anyone who's inferior.

Totally agree. Social media was created by incels only to later on destroy incels. Just lol

If you were called hot then they were most likely trying to make you feel better.
