1st Stage—Unaware
You’re usually 1-14 at this stage. You never realize you’re being treated like shit. All the laughing you hear, the whispering and the staring. All that stuff and you don’t realize it’s about you. They can come at you and insult you but you won’t blink an eye. You won’t even think about it when going home.

2nd Stage-Realization
once you become a high schooler, You realize something is wrong. You realize you haven’t made any friends or a single girlfriend yet. You still have hope and still got no idea why people mistreat you. You assume it’s perhaps your personality or something else….

3rd Stage-In Denial
After a few months of high school you realize your looks are probably tbe problem. People constantly tell you it and show you no remorse. You try to play it off with a “I don’t care”. You still try to cope by thinking looks don’t matter and that they’re just assholes. You probably go on social media and start saying how only personality matters but deep down you know the truth. You just don’t like to hear it. You may even bully other uglies out of anger because the truth hurts.

4th Stage-Insanity
You had enough. You know you're ugly. Your school and teenage years is coming to a close. You haven't succeeded at all throughout your laugh. You are extremely depressed and rot at home all day. You come home after work and punch your pillow out of anger, sometimes imagine hurting your bullies, start listening to edgy music, getting bad thoughts. You still try your best to be kind to people though because you’re too much of a pussy.

5th Stage-The Final Bow
This can go in many ways. You finally had enough of it all. The pain and suffering. There’s 3 paths you will probably take. One is that you will go ER, Two you may end your own life, Three you will live on til you die by being depressed and alone forever and ever. At this point you lost empathy for humanity. You just hate the world and no longer care what people say (but you still kinda do).

2nd Stage-Realization ---- FOR ME
i remember i hated launch break at school because i ate alone and everyone around seemed to look at me funny in secret mockery, i started to bring food from home and enter a tiny forest behind the school broken fence and go inside there to eat alone in the middle of the woods away from cruel eyes, at that moment i hit stage 2.
"why i am having to eat in the woods?"

In gym class I was always picked last and in elementary school I thought it was funny. As I got older and it kept happening I started to question it. Why was I always picked last, why did no one ever want to work with me even though I always got good grades, why do I have to hide in the library during lunch time

i 100% agree, u wrote it like if u describe me

I hid in the library during lunch in 8th grade (age 14), away from cruel eyes, laughs, and words in the lunchroom. Usually I don't think I even brought food for lunch, I just went without food all schoolday until I got home.
