Pretty hard to explain it fully, but tried my best. Outside of mostly discussion forums and videos that align with me through shared personal experiences or an expansion of constructive thought, most forms of Social Media content that I could consume endlessly whilst LDARing is getting so old for me.
I’m not interested in the next subjective commentary video about some situation going on in the world, i’m not interested in another edgy comedian online, i’m not interested in trolling some guy I find disagreeable on an alt account, etc.
Having conversations with the average guy or disadvantaged man who shares the same interests or struggles as me is the only real motivator for me to use the internet socially nowadays; it gives me some sort of purpose into typing instead of rotting without seemingly any reason. It seems like tenfold people nowadays are just making platforms attempting to be a personality rather than an individual, spewing edge with no substance and cloaking everything else.
Don’t get me wrong, I still do consume inherently meaningless content for the shits and giggles of it and I don’t use the internet as a personal encyclopedia 100% of the time, but it’s to a point to where what basically everybody I know finds enjoyable online I really couldn’t give less of a fuck about when they send it to me.
