I miss that game, major nostalgia.
Oneoof the best licensed games of all time.
I was too low iq to beat it as a kid but I beat it a couple of years ago on pc. It's pretty easy when you know all of the shortcuts.
Ironically childrens games in the late 90's and early 2000's were more difficult than modern games for adults.
Older games used to put a lot of effort into their soundtracks. I wish I had more games like that one growing up.

You can drive and run over any npc but they can’t die. When you hit npcs it does build up your wanted meter. What I do also like to do is kick a woman npc, when the npc gets up they usual run away from you. I manipulate this so they run in front of a bus.
Does the bus at least kill them? lol
Imagine you can kill all of the Springfield NPCs.
Btw, this reminds me of Star Wars Episode 1 for the PS One.
There you could kill important NPCs and save afterward.
When you load the latest safe game, those NPCs will be gone (dead) and you could screw up your play through.
This has happened to me. I will get the game again and try it.

It's a pretty good game although I've actually spent a lot longer on Road Rage.
I guess even though Hit & Run was more ambitious I thought Road Rage was more fun.
