The fact that the "bad boy" trope is very popular is all you need to know that girls like (attractive) assholes.
I think that this statement alone is sufficient enough to prove that those evil "Nice Guys" have an accurate assessment of male-female relationships.
Occum's Razor states that, generally, the simplest answer is the correct one. So if a woman likes "bad boys" (I.E. - assholes), further additions to that statement only obfuscate the real truth of the matter. If women secretly have a nurturing instinct to fix broken men (Blue Pill), we'd see many weak, sensitive men who blossom into self-actualized individuals under a heroine's care. This never happens. If women just wanted confident, masculine men (Red Pill), traits the bad boy just happens to include, they would scoff at these dangerous cads, and veer towards the traditional hero. That certainly is not always the case.
Women love bad boys because, well, women love bad boys. Imagine if we hamstered away other aspects of life to such ridiculous degrees. "No, see, people don't like hot girls, they just like girls who are confident because they are hot." "No, people don't like money, people just like the things you need money to buy." While ingrained with truths, these statements tell us nothing that the first statement didn't already reveal. Just because the monetary pieces of paper have no inherit value, doesn't mean you won't go to great lengths to get them. While women are attracted to masculine, confident men, this does not make the statement "Girls love assholes" less true. Pointing such out is simply a distraction to excuse female behavior.
Girls love assholes. Yes, they can also love genuine, kind Chads too. No, that doesn't mean an Incel will start slaying because he suddenly acts like a dick. Neither of these statements debunk the first. Females drool over bikers, ex-cons, monsters, and abusive behaviors in best sellers across the store aisle. The same is not true for men. To say this has no influence on irl behavior is to essentially say that there's no pattern to human fiction consumption, that any novel can be about anything with any quality and still be on the bookshelves for baffling reasons. This couldn't be farther from the case. In fact, entire companies sustain their sales through extremely formulaic flooding of the romance aisles. Because we are predictable creatures, and we know what females want.
Girls like assholes. Deal with it.
