There are many problems with this type of logic, but the most important is that betabuxxing is not binary. Neither is physical attraction for the women towards these guys they marry/ltr. The most frequent situation is one where the women finds the guy moderately attractive/tolerable *and* is attracted to their security on some level(among other things).
Does some 34 year old ex-stacy get as wet for her new betabux husband as she did for chad 9 years ago? No.....maybe not. But it's a spectrum, and she'll give up the 2 point difference in looks
for the financial security, the appropriateness of having kids with him, etc.....it doesn't mean she finds new betabux husband repulsive. And it doesn't mean it's not 'real' sex.
It's best to look at these relationships on a spectrum.....not in neat little categories.
Almost all the guys I know are happily married and are 4-6/10 in terms of looks. The idea that they are only doing 'a little better' than me is the fallacy. In fact in most of their cases the overall outcome difference between them and me in terms of sex, relationships, etc is MUCH GREATER AND MORE MEANINGFUL than the difference between them and 9/10 chad, even controlling for all other variables.
If you have your shit together in other areas, 5/10 is absolutely fine. At least from what I see/my experiences
