They are all different aspects of the selfish nature of life which is the definition of life, a selfless life is an oxymoron, or else all life would be a giant lump of primordial goo and no"one" would exist, ALL living beings are built upon the 7 deadly sins
Pride: Everyone is prideful, everyone wants to be one of the "good ones" if not the best one, everyone wants to be "better than others", beautiful, intelligent, rich, strong, big, and if you are, you can't help but subconsciously and consciously feel proud, even acknowledging that one is "better" no matter how humble one is, is pride, this goes back to the selfish nature of life, one must see oneself above all to maximize survival
Envy: This is actually the same as pride, you can call it the "pride of the underprivileged" it's when you don't have something to be proud of but the desire to have something to be proud of is still there, the desire to be superior exists even in the most inferior beings, Chad is proud, incel is envious, but they are just other sides of the same coin
Greed: One must always want to be more and have more, or someone else will, because the world won't stop at your success, things change, progress and grow, one can't fall behind or one's genes will die out, when a male lion wins over others he kills the cubs that aren't his
Wrath: Exists for self preservation & protection, a "bruised ego" is a great motivation to take [back] what you think is yours, that thing could be an object or "being right", all animals and humans get angry and fight when their ego is hurt
Gluttony: All life depends on devouring matter, mostly other organic life, all animals eat as much as they can because nature is brutal and one must take all opportunities to eat, all animals become fat if given unlimited food, you've probably seen pictures of fat monkeys in zoos and fat house cats, because there's no internal limiter for eating except feeling "full"
Sloth: One must use all the opportunities to rest and do nothing, doing more than the absolute necessary causes harm and frustration, predator animals sleep and rest the most because they feel the most safe, no living being moves around without having a hedonistic purpose in mind
Lust: Now the devil himself, lust is the unconscious desire to reproduce, the key here is "unconscious" because even if you consciously decide you don't want kids, as long as you are lustful the unconscious desire is there, it's not like any animal logically decides to have kids anyways, it's all automatic, they take care of their kids but don't know how their kids came into being
The most basic first form of life was a single strand of RNA that wanted to reproduce, consoom, be the one to survive and have it all, the inherent philosophy of life is "all for one", So when some religions ask us to overcome the seven deadly sins they're asking for the total denial and avoidance of life and everything that holds up life and 4 billion years of evolution, but most of us don't want to, we love life or at least love things within life even if we're underprivileged and complain about it
