Male virginity does not necessarily contribute to the growth of the incel movement rather it is propagated in a means similar to the public opinions of any other form of oppression. An incel only becomes and incel not purely out of frustration of being a virgin rather by being "oppressed" through several means by people who are not a virgin, including but not limited to social ostracization, shunning, and most importantly, denying help. There is not a clear line among neurotypicals, chads, normies and even sub 5 non incels as to when exactly being a virgin is seen as an open problem. Depending on your luck, anywhere between the ages of 18-25, if you are a virgin you will be categorized a problem. This is due to the fact that human beings are social creatures and it is observed as an inadequacy of your character if humans have reason to believe that other humans find you repulsive. This act inadvertently fuels the incel movement. Systematically oppressing a group of people, completely ostracizing them, and shunning them, and most importantly denying them any help would fuel extremist thinking. I am not saying that we need help but being treated human is not a major ask and is a bare minimum. ER would still be alive had people treated him with basic human decency.
In recent times, news headlines pertaining to an overall increase in incels have been discussed to death on norimie watering holes and most discussion groups. However scientifically speaking the reason incels exist or more so as to why the incel ideology gets popularized is inherently the fault of everyone who is not an incel. In order to elucidate the point I would like to bring forth the problem of extremist violence among any revolutionary group. Several acts of political violence against the state by revolutionary organizations typically tend to be a reaction to systematic oppression and denial of basic resources to the said group by the state. And the sentiment and public opinion regarding these non state or extremist actors change based on the level of oppression by the state. The reason people don't sympathise with the oppression of incels is because the popular consensus of us is that we are "lost causes". It is an issue because this categorization is extremely unfair and is not based on a set rule rather it is up to the discretion of the human you are interacting with. And it only takes one person to make that categorization for you to be typecast by most subsequent groups you meet. As I mentioned earlier, the reason the plight of incels is demonized rather than sympathized is because our problem is personal and not situational. Furthermore, the demonization of us is contrary to every other popular belief. Titling a group of people as a "lost cause" is inherently perjorative and it is another criteria that non-incels target us over while committing the exact same behaviour. From any perspective unless you have a negative IQ, discriminating or socially ostracizing a 30 year old man purely because he is a virgin and assuming that he possesses beliefs and opinions directly against your personal safety (i.e., Misogyny) is perfectly analogous to discriminating or socially ostracizing some guy purely because he is of african descent and assuming that he possesses beliefs and opinions directly against your personal safety (i.e., he wants your wallet). However the former is socially acceptable while the latter would get you a jail sentence. This is because blackness is a racial trait and members of said race would not share the same opinions regarding the person as it is not inherently a deficit. However being a virgin reflects on your undesirability as a human, and even other virgins would share the same popular consensus regarding you in order to not seem like one themselves.
This systematic acts of BM against the incel community would obviously disable us from empathizing with other members of broader society as why should we care about the people that do not care about us and further take every chance they get to humiliate us.
