anyone that has seen YouTube lately must have notice all the ai generation thumbnail "art" and heard the ai generation voices of newer channels.... (especially if you like movie recaps! it's how I find new stuff to watch since I don't have TV)

most of the new fake voices these days seem real AF! (I was around since the beginning of tts and its uncanny AF!)

anyway, I was recent listen to archaix podcast and he was in Vegas and there's a ai convention their rn.

they are talking info from popular information channels and condensing it and delivery it as "original" ai content. and making money off it.

the prediction is, soom, all TV and media will be fake AF!

Ehhh..... Text to speech will definitely be beautiful in a few years, but AI is still really shitty with video and image generation. I honestly didn't predict the rise of spam and slop content. It's amazing how even with insane technology out in the ether to make your own virtual harem with, there's so much glut, misinformation, and informational rabbitholes that are just designed to be glaring timesucks for ad revenue that people who make decent original stuff without AI end up having creative jobs after all, despite it seeming to be not the case.

I feel like one of the recurring themes of 2025 is how greed has been biting people in their own ass somehow. There's something karmic about it.

I think ai art is crap for propaganda use because it's soulless. Non emotive. Good propaganda art creates motion. Ai slop creates indifference.

even making in awesome AI porn-- it's extremely limited in terms of storytelling. There's a reason why all these impressive AI trailers, are just trailers with a one realistic vegeta floating in slow mo-- THATS ALL IT CAN FUCKIN DO RIGHT NOW. One character per shot looking fancy.

The second you have two characters interacting beyond standing there and talking, in an isolated and disparate way, or something something solo that's green-screenable it's almost impossible to make it happen, to the point where just making it honestly is easier.

I just hope the AI rabbithole doesn't do the opposite effect where increasingly writers have to pideonhole their ideas into what AI can feasibly do, because again, it's a case of robots eating our faces. Why are we limiting ourselves to what artificial intelligence is capable of when we have the capacity to do it ourselves? It's because AI is more likeable than humans.
