They hate that the metaverse will bring equality because now you aren't stuck with ugly looks and personality will actually matter. They enjoy the fact that they were lucky and will do anything to maintain their unwarranted position in life. With the metaverse, they'll be forced to realize that everyone actually really sucks because once everyone looks good no one will care about anyone anymore because you'll no longer be able to feel superior to other people so there's no longer any pretending to love people who you just liked to have sex with anyways not their personality. You'll just be an average NOBODY, like incels. Forgotten and abandoned by the entire world -- because you're forced to realize that you're just another tiny piece of the universe.
