Governments and organisations dont want us to commit suicide because of economic and labour interests. The rest of society, normal regular people certainly want us to commit suicide. I call it "modern barbarianism". People cant send us to undiscovered countries anymore, they cant send us to pointless large scale wars, they cant kill us for bloodsport, and many wouldnt be a fan of gorey bloodsports nowadays anyway.
The modern way it seems for people is to grind guys like us down, then lie to us, and then blame us, putting us down every step of the way so that we do the job ourselves. This also gives them the added bonus of preaching about suicide awareness through virtue signalling, earning them some cheap and easy social and moral brownie points at the expense of the lives of rejects. Don't be mistaken into thinking that most people don't want us to kill ourselves. Putting us in positions where we are likely to do so is how they operate.
