If I were good looking, or at least average looking, I would have had at least an average looking GF, which in turn would have done wonders for my self esteem.

I would have experienced at least some female validation, romance and sexual intimacy, which would have made me feel a whole lot happier and fulfilled in life. And subsequently, this would have given me more mental energy to spend on other aspects of life.

But since I'm ugly, I've only ever experienced rejection and being treated differently, which in turn destroyed my self esteem. As a result, I am constantly unfulfilled and unhappy. I simply don't have the mental energy to try new things or put myself "out there".

I just do the bare minimum to get by in life. That's the very best I can do.

I do not live. I merely exist.

Yes, it's a water post. But we need to drink water to live.

True. The biggest lie was to believe that we were destined to live any sort of fairy tale story.

One finally realizes that most people are conquered by their animal instincts and lie to themselves about what they actually desire. Most people genuinely believe they treat ugly people equal with attractive people; they’re completely blinded by their own nature. Once you observe this to not be the case, you can’t help but laugh at how delusional people are with themselves.

Welcome to .is.

Yeah. When I was younger, I confidently believed that I'd find a GF someday. My rationale was "everyone else has one, so I have to get one too". I truly believed it was just how life worked. And so I was absolutely sure that I'd find love some day.

Only after a brutal rejection in 2010 did I start seeing the patterns and connecting the dots. I arrived at the conclusion that the it was my looks that was the problem.
