A common notion on the right wing side of the internet that is rarely defined and often misdefined is the “progressive stack”. This is the notion that some “marginalized” and “oppressed” (see: non white, non man) groups are hurt more so than others, and this leads to differences in, for example, “minority” protection and privilege.
Some will say it changes, “gays are on top now”, or whatever; but it at least appears to me to have a pretty clearly defined, reasonably static structure of cascading justifications, that each (by their lights) bad thing is bad because it’s analogized to an even worse thing, until one reaches the worst thing ever.
It seems to me one cannot get past middle school without internalizing this structure, though of course in a case of celebration parallax the shitlib will deny that anybody has ever said the Holocaust is the worst thing ever, or is why racism is bad.
Yet “racism is bad” did not exist before WW2 for the obvious reason. And, for example, when former American negro basketball player Charles Barkley joked that “AAU is the worst thing in the history of the world.” Steve Kerr, who is white and Armenian (emphasis mine) chimes back with “I thought you would say the Holocaust."
While the Twilight Zone is the name for a region in the murky depths of the ocean, between dark and light.
It was also the name of a popular, space-age era science-fiction television show that ran from 1960 to 1965, written by the Jewish Rod Serling.

This era is notable as it was after WW2, but before the full push for Civil Rights. The Confederacy are not villains in the Twilight Zone. But Nazis are. The mystery-cult of “racism” does not connect them. See this parody from Futurama:

In the Twilight Zone, and for the most part other media from that time period, the Soviet nukes are just “like the Nazis”. The Nazis and Soviets are blended together as supervillain in The Twilight Zone, burning books and dropping bombs. Indeed that was the fear in the days of the space race and after Sputnik. And yes that alone makes me skeptical of both nukes and manned spaceflight.
But the point is that an attempt to retvrn to Twilight Zone seems to motivate much conservative and libertarian ideology.
The all-pervasive attempt to re-interpret one’s opposition to leftism into according with leftism, for fear of being ostracized.
They have attempted to add a new layer into the progressive stack-pyramid. Between “racism” and “anti semitism” they wish to stick “collectivism” or “statism”, the transparent first attempt at “DEMS R THE REAL RACISTS”.
On the usual picture, transphobia is bad, causes dead naming, because homophobia is bad, causes gay bashing, because sexism is bad, causes rape, because racism is bad, causes slavery, because anti-semitism is bad, causes mass murder.
On the conservative/libertarian picture, transphobia is bad, causes dead naming, because homophobia is bad, causes gay bashing, because sexism is bad, causes rape, because racism is bad, causes slavery, because anti-capitalism is bad, causes communist mass murder, because anti semitism is bad, causes fascist mass murder.
This is one reason for the dumbbell’s image of the “Nazi Commie” and one reason why “Cthulhu always swims left”. It also seems an apt analogy for sticking a new layer into the middle.
It’s also of course, why one ultimately doubts the Holocaust. Without it, nobody would be saying men are women, or Afghans are Danes.
