The majority of human beings are weak willed and simply seek the route of the least resistance, and are also too egoistic to have a realistic view of themselves. This is why when the masses are given the ability to dictate policy, they will simply vote all of their responsibilities (conscription, giving birth to children and supporting a family to maintain the nation, creating a carrier to help the economy and increase wealth etc) away, while also voting in entitlements (welfare state, social services, free education, free food, free birth control, free everything). This lowering of standards is then followed by a massive erosion of ethics, since the absence of a third party (government, religion, etc) to enforce shared values, as well as the reduced incentive to make smart choices thanks to the welfare state, means that there are no real ill effects (or at least, so do most people think) from doing whatever you want. Then to make matters even worse, in order to make up for the low birthrate the selfish population simply decides to make up for their own lack of children (not counting those children who are born to single mothers and other similar low IQ idiot groups) by merely importing huge numbers of foreigners the majority of whom have nothing in common with the native culture and also often have lower average IQ. The end result of this importing of foreigners combined with the native birthrate being limited mostly to the low IQ lower classes, is a massive dysgenic effect that weakens the nation even further and sets it up for future civilizational collapse.
Simply put, democracy isn't sustainable. It's just not compatible with human nature at all. There are just too many greedy impulsive people that can't see the big picture. Every single nation on earth that embraces democracy, will at some turn into a spoiled dysgenic shithole that completely destroys itself. In the past I use to buy into the "democracy is flawed but still better than the alternatives" mindset, but I now know this isn't true since at least the dictatorships don't enact policies that lead to the literal excintition of their nations. Democracies do. By the end of the century (or even just 30-50 years from now) China is going to mog the western democracies so bad that it will completely destroy the global legitmacy of democracy.
