Is to feel pain and suffer. That is it. I genuinely cannot see it being anything other than this.
When you think of war, and more specifically the people who’d been to war, you will immediately come to realize that those people who fought so that you can be presented with the opportunity to continue to live, most definitely had a severely depressing and negative outlook on this world as a whole. They didn’t just have a dim view on life, no, they saw hell on earth at first-hand. They saw humanity for it is or what it can be.
The very same can be applied to you. YOU live that life. You are the one who has been sent to a war with yourself. You are the one who didn’t get to choose. Life isn’t inherently bad, you just happen to have a very miserable shot at it. The point of YOUR LIFE is so the posterity can live superior. You exist so that people can differentiate between ugly and beauty. You exist so that there can be happiness, there can be objective good.
That is all.

Case in point, we have more consistent lurkers than active members on here. You exist as a laughing stock to them. A comfort zone. Something so that people can get a wind of and go: wow, thank God I’m not THAT guy or thank God I wasn’t born him. Remember that.
