the overwhelming majority of foids in most areas of the world do not own horses, whereas a sizeable portion of the population has a dog in the household.
even the foids that do not OWN dogs will still have foid friends who do, and are kind enough to share them. the same cannot be said about horses.
if the average foid had quick and easy access to male horses, you best believe EVERY SINGLE ONE would be fucking them
