As a loser in life the office environment is an absolute death sentence. It feels like somewhere we're not invited as colleagues brag about their fancy holidays and romantic relationships.
As an inkwell we're basically a ghost amongst others, hidden in plain sight. We're either ignored or spoken down to. Any response from us is dismissed and gaslighted, because we're so fuckin misunderstood in this bluecucked society. Then there's the bullying masked as 'professionalism'. I've been here a month and already been bullied by 1 staff member who has taken any opportunity to speak down to me harshly and abruptly for no valid reason, correcting me at any opportunity and invalidate any simple mistakes I make.
To be present in a confined space like this amongst others is purgatory. The awkward silence as we stare intently into our desktop laptops. I'm also the only male. I'm fucking tired of feeling like an alien, people treat me how they perceive me based on my lack of height and beak like nose. As a socially awkward anxious man I've been treated like shit my entire life. I've been gradually learning the role and becoming more efficient at what needs to be done, but still I'm perceived differently to everyone else. Every environment, every workplace, this has been the case. This abstract existence is some sick twist of fate, its our reality through our eyes only, fuck this life
