I'm a grown man but I was looking at a book at Strand Bookstore. This girl who was probably about 12 came up to me and asked me if I had read the book and I had not and she said that she had and she started talking to me about the book without giving me any spoilers it was an innocent conversation seeing the fact that she was only a child but there was some little Chad nearby who saw me talking to this girl and apparently he being a Chad needed to be the center of the universe so he comes over and he starts budding into our conversation and trying to monopolize this girl's time trying to get her to talk to him instead of me. Very strange

So a tween boy sees a teen girl and wants to talk to her. He was either A) Worried she was talking with a grown man and yes, he probably wouldn't had cared if you were a woman or B) Thought she was cute and was trying to get her attention like most tween/teen boys who aren't socially awkward.
