The culture of the 21st century in the West, which has facilitated the rise of the internet and social media, has disproportionately disadvantaged men and allowed for females to enjoy a lifestyle of such ease that they, as a species, have lost touch with reality. Through the late 20th century, feminism - the ideology of women being victimised in society - led to many advances in civil rights across the world for women, which in that of itself is not necessarily a bad thing, as before the 21st century women were perhaps somewhat more respectable intellectually. However, the combination of an ideology based on victimhood and the brainless, closed-minded thinking promoted by mainstream social media (Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and other platforms popular with young people) has blinded feminism to the advantages the 21st century culture brings for females.
It is indisputable that the instant gratification nature of the internet and human desire has allowed women to enhance their ease of life. Instagram influencers, whom are predominantly conventionally attractive women, make millions upon millions of dollars merely posting photos of their naked bodies online, a degenerate by product of oversexualisation society that has only escalated with the rise of Only fans and such. On the other hand, men do not seem to be able to as easily market themselves in an era of instant gratification, meaning they do not receive the same monetary benefits as females. Clearly, money is essential for wellbeing in the capitalist, market based economy that the majority of western societies run on at the present, thus there is a clear advantage provided by the modern era for women that is not available for men to nearly the same extent.
Despite the fame and attention these influencers and models may receive from their explicit posts, their self fulfilment remains low and as such, they identify with victimhood and feelings of oppression. Because they derive their self actualisation from meaningless attempts at dopamine rushes from likes, comments etc on social media, these females do not derive legitimate WORTH from their "job", in the same way that a female of past who may have worked as a teacher could derive meaningful fulfilment from helping others. These females are aware that their work revolves around the exploitation of men's natural instincts and that they themselves are not actually doing anything to make money, rather they rely on their bodies to do so, meaning there is no legitimate feeling of self accomplishment. This inevitably results in self esteem issues and other mental problems, making these women susceptible to ideas which affirm their feelings of victimhood and give them a way to justify their perceived lack of self worth.
Feminism, along with leftism more broadly, tends to identify with minorities and the 'oppressed' in society such as ethnic minorities, LGBT, women etc. The current culture that runs rampant on mainstream social media such as Twitter has a clear left wing, SJW, Intersectional etc agenda, so females who lack self esteem are able to identify with such an ideology and will naturally gravitate towards the beliefs that they are constantly being shown online. This does not just apply to influencers and such either, all young girls who are indoctrinated into the leftist way of thinking internalise the notion that they have been victimised by society in some way and that they must fight against those that they have been TOLD are oppressing them, such as the patriarchy etc. Because they already have some of these internalised beliefs built in from other societal messaging regarding women being oppressed, they are able to fall into the echo chamber of others always reinforcing their beliefs that they are the victim and that they are somehow united with other marginalised groups. As most young people do not read the news or get information from any source other than one with a bias toward their own belief, they develop an inability to comprehend that others may not agree with their point of view, making this a toxic occurrence.
With an ideology of victimhood being shoved down these girls throats, it is no wonder that they are so oblivious to the fact that they live life on 'easy mode' as some put it. An astounding percentage of females to this day will still fervently claim that it is because of men that social media is oversexualised and has ruined women's self esteem and so on and so forth. They do not seem to see that it is these women's OWN choice to post their bodies online and make personal gain from it. Furthermore, many feminists will go so far as to DEFEND these models, saying that "sex work is real work" etc, while still trying to argue on the other hand that pornography and the market for women's bodies is far more detrimental to women than men. They contradict themselves by labelling Onlyfans "empowering", as it clearly does provide material benefit to women, while refusing to admit that it is clear evidence of the "sexism" that could be claimed is demonstrated against males by the INHERINT advantage females have in todays society.
P.S: This is my first post on this site and I have a lot more things I want to say but I just wrote this quickly to get some of my ideas out there.....
