How do you convince someone to believe you?

One method is with evidence.

You can show them proof after proof that what you are saying is true until they are forced to confront your ideas.

But this is largely ineffective because the other side can conduct studies of their own and come back at you with proof that counters your own.

Instead, to convince someone of your position, it is far more effective to take their side then show them the consequences of their actions if left unchecked.

This is exactly what I plan to do in this following piece regarding the Metaverse.

I think of the metaverse like this: essentially it is an attempt at making the internet a more immersive and important aspect of our lives; the end result is a universe within a universe hosted online.

Currently, employees at Meta, Microsoft and other big tech corporations are pursuing augmented, virtual and mixed reality research; all of which will contribute to the development and eventual adoption of the metaverse.

However, they are not taking into account the repercussions their actions could have on the rest of society; in particular, incels.

Less Value on Physical Attractiveness

The first important disruption caused by the metaverse will be a complete shattering of the blackpill as we know it.

Physical attraction will be of less importance in relationships due to the ability to customize your avatar to better represent your own image of yourself.

What does this mean?

Every guy will look like Chad and every woman will look like Stacy.

If the ugly Jew in his mom's basement wants to look like a muscular movie star he can.

Likewise, if the morbidly obese woman wants to turn herself into a blonde Cinderella so that she can find her prince charming, she can too.

The result is a complete removal of reality and the truths that come along with it; the blackpill is shattered.

But this will only lead to a marked increase in the number of incels worldwide.

Remote Relationships

A major concern of mine with regards to the rise of the metaverse is an excuse for widespread adoption of long-distance relationships.

Think about it for a moment.

Long-distance relationships have only become practical due to advancements in technology.

Without a pen and paper, Romeo cannot write to Juliet; without a cellphone, Pete cannot call Amanda; without the internet, Jake Paul cannot send Julia Rose a message on Discord.

The common theme is that, as communication technology has advanced, so to has our ability to engage in long-distance relationships.

Well, if our communication technology eventually emulates face-to-face communication, it necessarily follows that long-distance relationships could become a fixture or even the norm for society.

What this eventually leads to is remote relationships.

If we can work from home, why can't we date from home?

Via the metaverse, a man in the future may have the ability to date his girlfriend in India without having to leave his room.

The only thing he will be missing is sex.

Since the relationship is remote, both parties will have to resort to mutual masturbation with each other to resolve sexual tension.

Depending on how good the technology becomes and how many senses it is able to stimulate, this mutual masturbation could end up becoming preferable to physical sex entirely.

But, in the end, it will also lead to more impetus for young men and young women to seek out online unions in favor of real relationships.

If this is allowed to escalate, it could lead to a potential worldwide inceldom for men and women; a society where it is taboo to have real sex.

Better Pornography

Finally, the metaverse will lead to far higher-quality and immersive pornographic content.

Already, we are seeing the rise of "Virtual Reality" porn which advertises itself as far more immersive than it's vanilla counterpart.

This is only just the beginning.

In the future, we could also start to begin seeing the adoption of artificially intelligent sex robots.

This could lead to young men seeking out relationships with robots in favor of relationships with real women.

After all, who wouldn't want their wife to be built on logic?

The effect this will have on young men is the exact same as remote relationships: less of a desire to seek out physical sex and an increased number of incels.

What this could eventually lead to is an incel crisis where 80% of the male population is sexless and 20% of the male population (those who have the money and power to physically travel the world) continue to have real sex.

If the metaverse resembles anything close to our real universe this could lead to two-tiered inceldom. The first tier of inceldom would be an inability to get laid in real life (perhaps shared by the majority of the population), the second tier of inceldom would be an inability to get laid in the metaverse itself.

The end result is a fragment of the population getting laid in the metaverse and an even smaller fragment getting laid in real life.

The Solution

Okay so the metaverse has some obvious concerns for the future incel.

But what can we do about it?

Right now the answer is increased discussion and debate in the hopes that we can sway the greater population to develop the metaverse, and all emerging technologies, in a responsible manner.

However, this will be extremely difficult to do; convincing someone to believe you is hard.

Instead, what is far more likely, is that incels will be forced to adopt the metaverse and will be forced to use it to cope.

The benefit of this, of course, is that the incel will have some semblance of a better life by gaining access to conversation with women (fake or real) and the ability to engage in sexual acts with them (even if only virtually).

And yet the incel still remains just that; an involuntary celibate.

incels will be forced to cope in the metaverse

0 people are permanently going to be joining the "metaverse", especially with any relation to dating or sex; it 100% won't be the same at all as in real life. How would it even work with emulating real life without literally all the problems that come with being in a "digital" world? Bugman cope from Zuckerberg, tbh. :feelsjuice:

normies already figured out how to filter out the incels in the metaverse. but yes if incels wanted to they could fraud and pretend to be chad. what the metaverse did achieve though is that incels could hang out with each other despite being a minority which prevents them from hanging out in real life.

also society will never make sex taboo. sex is always celebrated by society.

On August 20, 1890, the Washington Post called bicycling a hot fad for fancy ladies and not just for the "bleached-haired, music-hall type" anymore.
In 1902, the New York Times called the automobile impractical

In 1928, Joseph Schenck, President of United Artists, seemed confident about one thing: talking pictures were a fad.

The question is not "if" it is "when".

Ok here is the explanation for midladder decks.

People in midladder was shocked when they saw skarmy can counter alot of things so they use skarmy and splash damage to counter them wizard witch and valkyrie. Then when they saw megaknight which is very strong when overleveled is destroying them. Now it is the time to use megaknight. So now they have maxed witch wizard skarmy valkyrie and skarmy.

They found out that they are playing wrong so they are upgrading another deck they saw on youtube from top players but there levels are 11-12. Midladder players use these decks when level capped at 11 and 12. But in master 3 and above level capping is 13+ they cant use underleveled cards so they go back to their main deck.

I am in royale champion and still face midladder decks.

It is celebrated for some while restricted for others. For those with rape fetishes, fetishes towards virginity, pedophiles and those who engage in incest - sex is not celebrated; it is a crime.

We'll see. :ping:

And the relevance of this to the metaverse?

Normies and society are inherently evil. Their idea of responsibility is the censorship and destruction of incels. Getting society's 'opinion' on anything is purely destructive. The only way to build a good metaverse is to rip out society's power brutally. Society cannot win, society must lose, because society is the enemy.

True, good points. It is a futile attempt but worth the effort anyways even if it is just to say "I told you so".

I think it's important to remember that while we associate the metaverse with Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg it is still a general concept.

As mixed reality (augmented reality and virtual reality) become more practical and relevant, companies will start pursuing the concept again.

This means that any individuals setbacks (such as what happens with Facebook) should not deter the overall trend towards a virtual universe.

The sooner the better and I'm hoping they automate more jobs and still pay out salaries to make more people's lives better.

People's lives will be better but they will turn to greed and sloth just as society has become now.

I agree it'll be worse than today's society that's for sure but i don't see society becoming better as nihilistic as that sounds.

I myself am becoming more and more of a nihilist as the days continue to pass.

Me too it hurts when you're filled with optimism and hope to see it all get shattered but have to continue living for a salary paid for work you despise

not a good thread. in fact it's absolute utter shit, but thanks for laying out template of bullet points to use so I don't procrastinate writing my thread anymore:feelsokman:

This mostly sounds like mere worst case scenario fiction, but if you've ever read the book "Ready Player One" a novel about a virtual universe eerily similar to what zuck intends the metaverse to evolve into, this is one of the main plot points.

I've seen the movie obviously but haven't taken the time to read the book. Will have to.

The movie is completely different from the book and is missing several key plot elements, spielberg took a lot of shortcuts

Makes sense. There was probably Jewish influence there as well considering Warner brothers funding.

The metaverse will definitely not change human nature while we're still alive. Even if it did change what women biologically desire, it would take a lot of time.

Interestingly, we have already had proto-metaverses in the form of games like Second Life and Minecraft. Sure, the metaverse might take years or decades to come to fruition but it is also something that is a lot closer than we think it is.

The metaverse is interesting, but I can't put my dick into a virtual avatar. Let's say you meet a foid in the metaverse. You start talking a lot and she will have this idealized picture of you in her head. And when you meet her irl, she will either instantly be turned off, or it will take a few days or weeks until she will leave you because she tries to fight her instincts at first.

I can also put up my best picture on social media and chat with girls and some of them might be eager to meet me irl. But then what? This will never work, because I can't fraud or just show myself from one good angle. All the attraction that was built up before meeting will be lost instantly. There was this one asian kid who had an "online relationship" with a girl and when he met her the first time, she didn't even want to hold hands with him because he was too short. Imagine all the time and energy this kid has spent on the girl, just for it to be instantly over once she saw him. It will be the same thing with the metaverse.

Maybe or maybe not. The metaverse is about mixed reality: virtual reality and augmented reality paired together. This means you could be able to maintain your avatar even in "IRL" situations.

Good point. However, I would point out that the girl will likely be lying about her appearance to in her avatar. I remember some promotional material from Meta in which an obese woman was portrayed as slim in the metaverse. The "angles" will be on both sides.

One thing is for sure: technology's effect on dating is going to be very interesting to watch going forward.

True, you could both wear a VR headset while fucking.

She sees chad, you see stacy. You can gymcel together to attain top tier bodys. And get voice surgery if your voice is shit.

What about dick size? There might be a surgery that tightens vaginal walls if you're a dickcel.

In the metaverse your dick can be as big as you want it to be.
