I never watched it but people are unanimous about the female main protagonist being a horrible, narcissistic and entitled pos and yet it's one of womens favorite tw shows and they empathize a lot with her. This of course is different from men liking comics vilains or something as the setting of this movie is very realistic. In their reviews and critics women themselves will describe her as some sort of avatar for the "modern woman" and yet will rage when the manosphere uses the same term to criticize women. So why would you want a fleabag in your life or even approch a fleabag especially if you're ugly/poor and your chances are meager ? (i guess this is where mgtows and incels points meet). Could it be that the "modern woman" is not to be absolved from the antipathy she receives ?

Women embrace this main character fully, with all her flaws and bad behavior and still pretty much say "yeah i can relate". Indirectly they are telling us that this show is a honest depiction of their psyche (which, for the good observer, corroborates with their behavior anyway).

It's just that YOU are not allowed to point it out, cause as a man you must be a good boy. That's a dom-sub social dynamic easy to see irl. Women hate when men label them as fragile, emotional and irrational and god forbid you do but they'll never hesitate to proudly say it about themselves or act according to it and feel cute and quirky.
