The Last of Us is a bad game

I played TLOU 1 free when I got it on Ps Plus and I didn't finish it because I got stuck in one level and was too lazy to look for a walkthrough. The game has nice graphics but it's boring, repetitive and has a lot of trial and error moments. It's not even a good stealth or survival horror game, I don't understand so much hype and fanboyism for it. TLOU 2 on the other hand I know that their fanbase is SJWs who only like it because it has a trans character kek.

The mechanics are sort of whatever, but the relationship between Ellie and Joel kinda tapped into something parental in me. I think it's the post apocalyptic setting that removes all the noise from the world, making moments like Ellie trying to teach her herself how to whistle hit different when walking through an abandoned city. It's unfortunate how the second game has ruined the first in a lot of ways, the fact that Naughty Dog saw Joel as the bad guy is a good metaphor for living in this time.

I liked part one, it was somewhat immersive for me also zombie/post apocalypse is my fav genre
