When most Westerners were still Christian, they would stick to what they could gain in life, such as marrying someone of their level in terms of wealth, class status, maybe looks, someone who lived near them, etc.
And women were always assigned to live as housewives and to remain in the home.
So yes while modern technology has greatly allowed women transportation to other parts of the world to meet men abroad, the incel crisis is still, in large part, thanks to the loss of Christianity in the West.
And I figure that religious couples maintained faith in their marriage realizing that it was not some simple aspect of life but rather something that was divinely instituted.
I’m not a member of any specific religion, but I consider myself a deist.
