I've learned this the hard way recently!!

I wasn't robbed as such but... not THAT far off.

Whatever resources that others want you have you need to protect them effectively or people will do whatever they can to get to them.

The ability to acquire resources doesn't mean much if you can't protect them!

Just something I've been thinking about today that I wanted to share

To be honest I've also been thinking how lucky I am that I live in a society that has a vaguely functional legal system.

Or these resources of mine would be GONE, lol

The sheer fact I have any protection from theft at all (by default, anyway) is due to the legal system.

But erm... the abridged version is that I own a house and now I have unwanted tenants who are just about paying rent but I never wanted them there in the first place so now I need to tolerate them, evict them, or sell the house.

lol I heard about someone who did this to some airbnb "guests" who would not leave.
