Society has a ready-made response for men who get denied love. They treat it as a issue of entitlement. They tell you your pain doesn’t matter and that being alone is your own fault. They act like these are moral facts, but really, they’re just easy excuses to keep things the way they are.

Consider this: if tomorrow, all casual sex were criminalized, the world would be set on fire. If hookups and dating apps were illegal the results would be insane. The same people who once said that no one is owed sex would take to the streets. They would protest. They would scream about bodily freedom and expression. They would mourn their loss like a death,

If sex truly were not a right, they would not do this.

Even if such a ban were not permanent, and they still had the choice to marry, they would consider it oppression. Yet in their selfishness, they expect men to feel no anger when denied the same.

Some might say it’s different because casual sex happens between two people who both want it. But that doesn’t really matter. The pain of being denied is the same.
