Brilliant arc. It led me to consider if Togashi's frequent hiatuses have actually been a boon to the series since he can plan things out more.

The only complaint I have are the few episodes after the palace invasion where it's a bunch of narration and little progression. Everything considered, it has the best progression I've seen for a villain in a shonen.

I don’t know why everyone hates the arc. We got so much cool shit out of it. A bunch of character progression, even minor side characters!! Like some chimera ants and we got to see these two bad asses go all out

first 10 eps of that arc were really shit i went on a 3 months break after binging it but then it turned out really good
