In mid-2020, the book "COVID-19: The Great Reset" by Klaus Schwab, founder and permanent president of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, and journalist Thierry Malleret was published. Schwab, despite his high status, is a "talking head" and through this book he voices the plans of the world's higher elites and their project for the future of the post-capitalist world. This book is actively discussed in narrow expert circles, but it is practically not talked about in the official media.
Everything that is happening in world politics now is not some kind of chaos and randomness, but an attempt to implement the plan of the "Great Reset" ("Great Reset") the global economy and the construction of a new global management system is a tectonic shift of the entire model of the world order. Capitalism is disappearing into oblivion and a new project is ready to replace it. The coming new order is clothed in abstract and scientific terms, such as inclusivity, sustainable development, new ethics, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, etc.
The authors frankly write that the world will no longer be the same as before and a return to the past way of life is impossible: "Many people ask: when will we return to normal life? The answer is short: never. < ...> The world as we knew it in the first months of 2020 is no more — it crumbled amid the pandemic. Our story will be divided into two parts: before the coronavirus and after."
They further write: "At the micro level, in individual industries and companies, the "Great Reset" will entail a complex system of changes and adjustments. Faced with this, some industry leaders and executives will want to stop this reset, hoping to return to old norms and restore what once worked: traditions, established procedures and familiar ways of doing business. In short, to ordinary reality. It's not going to happen, because it can't happen anymore."
At the same time, they note that the pandemic provides a unique chance to rebuild the world. Here's what they write: "Our duty is to take action. The pandemic gives us this.
One of the features of our future is the elimination of private property and the abolition of cash and its replacement with the digital currency of the Central Bank (CBDC). When a person owns something, he feels independent and self-sufficient. And if there is autonomy, then there is independence and a desire to defend their rights. In order to make people disenfranchised and subordinate them to their will, the world elite has set a course for the deliberate dismantling of small and medium-sized businesses. According to some analysts, the true purpose of lockdowns and QR codes for visiting public places is the conscious economic paralysis of the middle class around the world. After such measures, most firms will go bankrupt and they will have to sell their assets, i.e. get rid of private property. For the same reason, agriculture is now accused of "contributing to global warming", so it should also be eliminated. In their place will come large multinational companies that will dictate their terms and promote to create your own conditions and promote GMO products. With the defeat of small and medium-sized businesses, they will become an unconditional monopoly.
In the world of the near future, the spheres of rent, rental, barter and subscriptions will flourish. The authors write that "we will have completely new types of property, in addition to private and public." You will be able to rent everything — from housing, cars and furniture to clothes and appliances. This is promoted as a "sharing economy". All this is served as a benefit, because in such conditions a person is as mobile as possible, is not burdened with his belongings and can change his place of residence at any time. Plus, in all this there will be an emphasis on environmental friendliness and care for the environment. Therefore, now there is a propaganda to reduce the level of consumption. But in such conditions, a person will be on "bird rights" — because all this is not his property, then at any moment he can be deprived of all this, and he has nothing of his own.
In such a situation, a person will be highly dependent on external conditions and circumstances, he will have to be as loyal to the authorities as possible — this is how he loses his freedom. The WEF even released a video where it predicts that by 2030 "you will have nothing and you will be happy."
They also write about the fact that nation—states are a relic of the past, and in order to defeat "global problems" it is necessary to unite. This means the destruction of State sovereignty. This opens a direct road to a Single World government and global power.
