Just when you thought that our convictions could not be proven more resoundly, the blackpill speaks again to us through the lens of another scientific study.
Honestly, it's great to see this help to promote & reinforce the basis of blackpilled worldviews:
-Men carry the burden of the weight share in the relationship
-Men add more value to the relationship
-Women add nothing, in fact deprecating the relationship
-If foids don't care about looks, they secondly care about money which ofc can correlate with looks but on its own, adds a lot of weight in possible marriage value(betabuxx)
This study all but confirms these. It was conducted in Sweden in order to measure the effects of lottery winning upon that of predicting outcomes related to divorce, attractiveness, and overall fertility. One thing I found quite interesting was how similar the study was in proportion to the general population:
So I guess valid & reliable isn't an issue here. The overall proportion of players whoare married (35%) in our pooled sample is similar to the population proportion (38%), asis the fraction of players attended college (25% compared to 29%). Finally, the averageplayer’s number of children in the year of win is similar to the population average (1.2compared to 1.3)
Divorce findings:
We find that lottery wealth increases the short-run divorce probability in the couples where wives win, and reduces long-term divorce probability in couples where the husband wins. These gendered treatment effects are consistent with a large body of empirical evidence showing higher husband’s earnings or employment stabilize marriages, while wife’s income or employment have an opposite effect (Berniell et al., 2020; Boheimand Ermisch, 2001; Burstein, 2007; Doiron and Mendolia, 2012; Folke and Rickne, 2020;Killewald, 2016; Weiss and Willis, 1997), though there are several exceptions (Hoffmanand Duncan, 1995). Yet while gender differences in the effect of earnings on marriage dissolution can be explained by the differential effect of earnings of the husband and wife on the gains from specialization according to comparative advantage, gender differences in the effect of lottery wealth cannot be explained by this mechanism.
If the winner instead retains most of the lottery prize, an alternative explanation for the gendered divorce pattern is that the wife has greater marginal utility of consumption in the single-state than in the married state and the husband has greater marginal utility of consumption in the married state than in the single state. In this case, the gains from marriage increase in the husband’s lottery wealth and decrease in the wife’s lottery wealth. Intuitively, a lottery win may give a discontent wife economic opportunity to leave the marriage, while men use the prize money in a way that increases the gains from marriage.
Once again, straight from the horses mouth. In a way, the "Several findings suggest that wealth may impact the divorce risk of married men andwomen differently. For example, our harmonized t = 5 estimates imply that marriedwomen are 1.87 (SE = 1.62) percentage points less likely to remain married, whereasmen in our sample are 3.11 (SE = 0.89) percentage points more likely to remain married. The analogous estimates reported by Bulman et al. (2022) are −1.57 (SE = 0.78) forwomen and −0.58 (SE = 0.78) for men. The gender gap implied by these estimates isapproximately one percentage point.
This merely proves & highlights that fact that not only do foids often only settle for someone whom can provide, yet also seemingly add no value to the relationship at all; seemingly leeching off it or merely adding a net-negative.
Holy shit, so in other words, having some rapid source of wealh accumilation is more or less enough to save your marriage & keep Mrs. Used-up-roastie around. We also report results which suggest that when married men win the lottery, the windfall has a tendency to stabilize their existing marriages. According to our estimates, the risk of a divorce event in the ten years following the lottery falls by 6.0 percentage points in this sample, a 40% reduction.
And people all will attribute it to "muh personality" at the end of the day, in spite of our countless evidence proving otherwise
Attraction/SMV findings:
Just win the lottery theory for a 1/3rd increase in ascension theoryAmong unmarried men, our point estimate suggests that a one-million SEK lottery win (≈$140,000) increases the probability of marriage within a five-year horizon by 4.7 percentage points, a 30% increase.
Ah of course, so much for all the effort done in order to make foids "Both in our combined and sex-stratified analyses, a striking finding is that the sign and magnitude of our estimated treatment effects often track the cross-sectional income gradients for the outcomes surprisingly closely. For example, Our results on marriage formation are consistent with the literature on gender differences in partner selection(Fisman et al., 2006; Bertrand et al., 2015; Almås et al., 2023), which has found that wealth appears to improve the marriage market prospects of men more than women, on average. The “gendered” treatment effects we report for divorce are directionally consistent with evidence that the association between husbands’ and wives’ incomes and divorce risk have opposite signs (Berniell et al., 2020; Boheim and Ermisch, 2001; Burstein, 2007;Doiron and Mendolia, 2012; Folke and Rickne, 2020; Killewald, 2016; Weiss and Willis,1997). Our follow-up analyses suggest the improvements are not uniform over the income distribution: lottery wins cause the largest increase in marriage rates and the biggest reduction in divorce rates among unmarried men with low incomes
But onwards, anyhow:
The final piece which completes this "blackpill trifecta" we have been hit with- highlighting how wealth along contributes to 13.5% or roughly around 1/8th of your rough SMV along(though ofc this can vary).Lottery wealth also increases male fertility at all time horizons. Ten years after the lottery draw, male winners have 0.056 children more per millionSEK, equal to a 13.5 percent increase in fertility during this period. In contrast, the only exception to the pattern of null results for female winners is that lottery wealth almost doubles their short-run probability of divorce. One interpretation of the absence of a discernible long-run increase in divorce risk among these women is that wealth acceleratesthe dissolution of marriages that were already underway.
Having cash alone seems to increase a males chances noticeably, yet for foids, it was found to be not significant at all- quite the blackpill barrage we got hit with here i'd say.
Men work for used up pussy, foids get to select what cock to ride like they're picking out ice-cream at a shop.
Winning the lottery, which is more or less equivalent to actually having one of those redpill "
