The disable my account button isnt working.

Do you guys know the reason for why the disable my account button isn't working for me? When I click it, it says "you do not have permission to access this page." Wtf this makes no sense. How do I not have permission to disable/delete my very own account? Do any of you guys know the reasoning behind this?
