I spend most of my time online - should tell you everything you need to know about my self esteem and my view on how others see me. It doesn't grant me any favours irl; looking different from the natives is never a good idea. Having Aspergers is undesirable, but perhaps just living in a first world nation would be enough incentive for many to switch with me.

The area I reside is majority white. Blacks account for 2.5% of the population, concentrated in the main cities. My ethnicity doesn't bother me that much, asides from when I come online; my main issue is looking the way I do whilst autistic. My race on its own is near enough insignificant. I consider myself to be a guest here.

The US is a strange place. People in the UK are fairly amiable, no complaints here. Seems that most ethnicities are afraid of interacting with a black person. I do my best to distance myself from negative stereotypes, though as a result it's impossible to be comfortable. Not an issue though, just life.

I'm always cognisant of that, yes. Some have it objectively worse, some better. I remain in my own world as a result; prefer not to think about such things. Life could be far worse.
