I'm Italian, but i subscribe to the Perennialist school, and in their view, the caste system of India was based around an underlying metaphysical reality. People are actually born into castes naturally, and they instinctively display behaviors associated with caste even in the absence of the existence or even knowledge of caste.
Medieval Europe was caste oriented as well, BTW, even if they didn't possess an explicit doctrine of castes. So the Church = Brahmin, the aristocracy = Kshatriya, the merchant and artisan class = Vaishya and the peasants = Shudra, and nothing really has changed, despite all efforts of modernity to ignore any class distinction, and nothing will change, because people are naturally born to fulfill those roles.
BTW, Chad is obviously Kshatriya. Everything makes a lot more sense once you understand this.
