I was in high school (this was 4 years ago, when I was 15) and during reading time, I was reading "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius (Roman Emperor). I looked back and a Black classmate was there with a free book because he hadn't bought any books, so he was reading one that was free from the library. I saw him with a face like this ( )

and I lent him my book (I had read it like 8 times and I loved it). After a week he gave it back and we started talking all year (only that year) about the quotes in the book. I think I civilized him haha, but i have not seen him for a while

this is the happiest anecdote of mine, of all of my shit life this one is pretty nice
