I just experienced this firsthand on Photofeeler. Normally, with a standard smiling looking-at-the-camera picture with decent lighting and angle (essentially doing everything I'm supposed to), I score around a 4/10 in attractiveness. A couple days ago, I decided to see what would happen if I used a shirtless bathroom selfie with my normal resting bastard face looking at the phone. Recently, I dieted down to about 10% body fat and have maintained it fairly easily for a bit over a month, and I've been weightlifting for some time, so I have a six-pack that's visible in most lighting and decent muscle and vein definition elsewhere. With 26 votes, I scored a 5.6/10 in attractiveness, with the confidence interval being between 4.5 and 6.7 out of 10. I'm hatfishing in the picture as well, but based on my experience with Photofeeler, the addition of a hat seems to do little if anything to change my attractiveness score.

Now, this experiment doesn't control for confounding variables like facial expression, but those of you who are familiar with the more professional scientific inquiry on the topic should know those variables have very minimal impact, so it's still a valid experiment in my opinion.

So tl;dr abs are cope, definitely get lean if you're looksmaxing but be aware that you'll hit a point of diminishing returns somewhere between 12% and 15% body fat.
 
Isn't the core of leanmaxxing your bones showing? Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
It's mostly height and face. Even chico knows that.

And being not fat will help you 80% as much as having a sixpack since sixpack isn't visible under the shirt. Gym is cope. Even the redpillers advocate for neck training to increase girth.

Yeah it's mainly for guys who have good bones but high body fat covering it, as far as looksmaxing is concerned. If you just want a strong athletic body, getting lean will give you a more android hormonal profile and improve your insulin sensitivity so gaining strength and athleticism is a faster and easier process.
 
I tried lean maxxing but yes, it gets you no where. Briefly had abs too. But I realized it wasn't worth it so now I cope with food. I'm not overweight yet, but if I was to stop cardio and lifting I definitely would be, lol. I eat alot.

This is a valid point too. I have a tiny waist and a gaunt face with little forward growth, so I just look like an Auschwitz escapee with shoulders and pecs in a shirt rather than a male model.

Unless you have a naturally wide frame and or/tall, being lean is a failo most of the time. You look small in shirts. Now, that doesn't mean you have to full blaha retard mode and become obese to "look big" in a shirt, but nevertheless, it's all just cope.

Gaining muscular size and strength optimally is a more difficult process with a lot more variables and uncertainty surrounding it. Fat loss is very straightforward in theory, the only problem is getting people to apply it in the real world.

Unless you have a naturally wide frame and or/tall, being lean is a failo most of the time. You look small in shirts.

As a 5'6 manlet, i hate the idea of "Just go 2 da gym br0000" since i don't have the height to pull off being muscular. Best i can do is be lean or be somewhat fit.

My sister unironically thought that male body builders just have bodies like that naturally. When I was lean maxxing and dieting properly in order to be low enough bf% she was legit disgusted with me and called me non manly. Women hate any man who tries to "fraud" his genes.

When I stopped giving a shit realizing it's pointless and started to eat normally while going to the gym, I got bigger obviously and sister was impressed but now she was disgusted with me that I no longer had abs. Women are retarded

How short is too short for muscles? Im 5'8" and the prospect gymcelling is really starting to wane on me. Ive skipped the gym for like a month and am finding hard to continue, should i just do cardio to leanmaxx?
