Nowadays people do like to repeat these bullshits over and over. Of course the only reasons they do this is to 1. Sound more politically correct, talking like it depends on changeable aspects and that everyone can do it (more inclusive) and 2. To avoid people getting frustrated and become "incels" and reduce "mysogyny" in the society.
The reality is, that men have always had it harder than women to date, but that was quite less noticeable in the past. When there were traditional roles, women used to care more about his salary, which she would then use to feed their children and stay at home with them. That and marriages, women had to choose one man each, and she didnt need to be particularly attracted to him since for her it was like a "business". Thats why there are so many jokes about men not ever having sex with their wives or having to insist to do anything once a week; she isnt attracted to him.
And then... With the use of dating apps and economical independence of women, this doesnt apply anymore. She can even get a child with an attractive man and be a single mother, and statistics either on dating apps or outside shows clear how men are more single than ever. But the fun thing is, that people do still use arguments based on previous generations that dont appy anymore, they're not updated. They tell you to show confidence and status, but as I mentioned, women have now very atrractive men avaliable on dating apps which makes it pointless for her to choose the worst option out of them all.
And now we reach the point of this post. People will manipulate and lie to people saying how "looks dont matter for women!!! Ugly men date all the time so it must be your personality!!!" Because of all I said. But as time goes, theres clearly a number of incel/virgin men going up, and the dating standarts are just going up so everytime it will be more and more obvious how most ugly men are alone, and boring asf chad gets all the attention. As much as these little manipulators want us to believe it is our fault to sound politically correct, the "elephant in the room" is just getting bigger and the room is shrinking. Up to a certain point, denying this will get to a point of negacionism, when a large percentage of people have lived it.
