This isn’t about finding “a nice church woman”, just in case someone is delusional like that. Not that anyone here is. Not here, at least.
Because the Christian love theory is wrong. It posits that all relationships, including romantic ones, are based on agape or the divine love, which basically means kindness. So this is just a roundabout way of saying “just be nice bro”. But women don’t enter the church as pure spirits, leaving their bodies behind. So they still lust for physically attractive men. In terms of finding a partner, church or no church, it doesn’t matter for ugly men.
The argument here is different. Meaning, out of all realistically accessible copes, churchgoing might be the superior one for several reasons:
1. Church is filled with old, ugly and neurodivergent individuals. You’ll fit right in.
2. The culture there strongly discourages bullying and gossiping. If you autistically sperg out and some cranky woman gets upset about this, she, not you, will be scolded, if anyone gets scolded at all.
3. Churchgoing allows at least for some in-person human contact, which is not the case for, say, video games. The quality of that contact, however, differs. The people there might just ignore you for the most part. Or they might patronize you: “My, my, look what do we have here…” This can be cringe inducing, but it’s not mean spirited.
Churchgoing in itself doesn’t require true belief. It does require some going along outwardly. In the title is says “religion” but I’ve talked about church. That’s because a temple or a mosque might work similarly, but I don’t have a personal account regarding those.
