I was searching on reddit and came across this balding guy looking for advice since he gets zero matches and likes on dating apps and the responds are just pure gaslighting. The man writes this in his reddit post: Since I do not get likes or matches in any way, no matter which dating apps I use, I have to conclude that I am quite unattractive, or that my dating profile at least gives that impression. As such, I agree with those who choose me, as I also think I am ugly, in such a deformed way, but had a little hope I just "am not my own type"When people here ask about being ugly, they always get to know that "it can't be why you're single", but I have never managed to meet someone from dating apps in reality, and have only twice had a chat up to run, where I mostly received very short answers, without any ambition to make the conversation flow.Is there anything I can change about my appearance, or should I just drop it altogether? I do not live in Copenhagen, so there are no dating events or the like. I can go to, as they have always been canceled due to Too few women. I already do strength training and exercise 5-6 times a week, and eat healthy.
and the comments he got were this: Remove the purple devil emoji from your bio,
I certainly don't think you're ugly (you actually look pretty cute in the first picture and the one where you're sitting on a bench in the woods), but your clothing style (especially the sixpence or whatever that hat is called) gives me the impression of a slightly weird type (sorry, but you asked for honesty). And then I don't really understand the text parts of your profile, so for me it wouldn't be conducive to conversation. Would rather have a real text about your personality and interests than something about British comedians, cats and dogs and gajol-box-mathematics / philosophy. It seems a bit forced That being said, I think the online dating culture today is pretty broken no matter who you are or how you look (unless you are only looking for non-committal sex). Hope you find your person at some point.
Totally agree. The colorful shirts, suspenders and hats don't work.OP, you look best in the t-shirt in the picture with the whistle, and if you want to wear a hat, just put on a regular cap
I don't want to glasses-shame either, because I have glasses myself, but you look best without.
NOT ONE WAS NOT GASLIGHTING HIM AND NOBODY TOLD HIM THE TRUTH THAT ITS HIS BALDING THATS CAUSING HIS LACK OF SUCCESS.

- Drop that devil emoji
- Drop the hat.
- The glasses really suit you
- The picture where you're sitting in the woods in your nice summer shirt, glasses on and a little smile is perfect!
