There are some spectacles of US decadence and decline that almost seem too on the nose – the sort of orgies of vulgar provocation or fantastic lack of self-awareness that exceed the limits of parody, so that if they were in a novel, you’d think the writer was laying it on a little thick.
Honestly, I agree with this despite the fact I would have worded it well...differently. :feelshehe::feelshaha:
Among these is the all-female flight by Blue Origin, the Jeff Bezos-owned rocket tourism company, which on Monday launched a phallically shaped pod full of women – including the pop star Katy Perry and Bezos’s partner, Lauren Sánchez – on a brief trip into space.
Geez, almost as if it was just a giant publicity stunt & not actually made to honor foids scientific achievement- almost as if it doesn't really exist. :waitwhat:
The flight, which was promoted for months in advance, was touted as a triumph of feminism, a win for science and an embrace of the kind of expansive, curious human spirit of striving and possibility that once animated both.
Almost as if feminism is counterintuitive to both
But the flight, and its grim promotional cycle, might be most depressing for what it reveals about the utter defeat of American feminism. Sánchez, the organizer of the flight, has touted the all-female crew as a win for women.
Ah, foid on foid violence will never not be funny to me:feelscomfy:

And considering how foids want to be seen by society, I'd say this actually lines up as a "win for women" since once again, they are proving to us all they are incompetent(they are ofc), but just want to claim "oppression" in order to be seen as "victims" so they can push for more DEI-tier bullshit
It is not misogynist to say that these women do not have their priorities in order.
Correct
Rather, it is misogynist of them to so forcefully associate womanhood with cosmetics and looks, rather than with any of the more noble and human aspirations to which space travel might acquaint them – curiosity, inquiry, discovery, exploration, a sense of their own mortality, an apprehension of the divine.

Remember feminists unironically complained about rockets being phallic in shape

I associate womanhood with nagging and narcissism.

I highly doubt Katy Perry and the wife of Jeff fucking Bezos (where's the personality detector when you need it? I thought everyone hated that guy so how does he have a wife? Hmmmm...) care about any of that. If women truly cared for any of that stuff then why in their time of liberation and freedom have they only doubled down on being whores, mothers, teachers, and nothing else of the sort?
