The Blackpill, which consists of evolutionary psychology, lookism, Darwinism, etc, is a physicalist reductionist viewpoint much like atheism is. Part of the reason I was able to adopt the BP so easily is that I'm an atheist, and the arguments for the black pill are much like those of atheism. The blackpill and atheism are both similar in that they're uncomfortable realities that evoke nihilism and hopelessness. They both disenchant the world. Why is it that atheists are generally so bluepilled when it comes to dating? For the normie who accepts atheism but rejects the black pill, it's easier to explain. It's much easier to reject a metaphysical view about life itself as a philosophical construct than it is to adopt a worldview that has direct implications on the life you're living in the here and now. I outgrew new atheism for this incongruence. You cannot spout bluepilled leftist views after dealing with harsh realities. That and the rejection of race-realism by new atheists is why I thoroughly reject them now.
