Society like to talk about the importance of morals but it's hard to take society seriously when it literally worships and make exceptions for immoral people.

When you're a famous celebrity and you happen to commit a crime, the whole world is on your side especially the media and the public who will make millions of excuses on your behalf all because you have notoriety and good looks.

When you're the complete opposite of that, the verdict is already out on you and everyone has mind up their mind about you not because of the crime itself but due to the fact that you're unpleasant to look at.
