they did briefly for a little while but it didn't really resonate with the millenial youth at the time. it was more of a 90's kids thing.

King of the Hill and even Daria were way better. I mean don't get me wrong Beavis and Butthead was cool but very little storyline or character development unlike the others. I mean watching it now it's really only something I can enjoy while stoned or drunk (preferably both).

I was referred to as butthead about 5 times when I was younger. I had a recessed maxilla, big nose and hair that was way too long. Whenever i smiled it looked like a grimace because of how far back my upper jaw was and because my ortho pulled 4 teeth and put me in braces.

The irony was that it was the ugliest guys who attacked my looks, but yeah it was bad.
