Think about it. If aliens were friendly, they'd at the very least show us some mercy and just bombard our planet with enough meteors to give us a quick death. Or perhaps you might think they would share with us their advanced nanotechnology to allow us to transform into Chad. Or maybe even give us our own ayyy gfs. But no. They're watching with their smug little smiles. Why? Not only did we get a terrible hand at being born ugly, but in this region of the universe even the ayyys take the side of foids and take pleasure in our suffering.
