I was a pre-teen in the early 90s, but I didn't have MTV in my small town. I had VH1, so I was watching Celine Dion and Michael Bolton videos lol. No alternative rock radio station either. I didn't even know what Nirvana was until I went to a summer camp in 1996, which was around the same time I started using the Internet.

The music was obviously miles better and everything was quite politically incorrect on TV.

You heard about people on valium, usually housewives, but very rarely antidepressants.

Yes. Basically what I'm saying is if you were an extroverted normie (or especially a Chad) who liked dancing and was good at dancing, or maybe if you were an introvert who got a little drunk and could jestermaxx at the disco, 70s seemed like a fun time. At least the music was 100x better than now.
