While that may be true, it wasn't easier for me - and a lot of guys.
In the 1970's / 1980's, it was easer for the 30+ year olds.
Those people would be in their 80's now.
It was NOT easy for teens in the 1970's and 1980's. I was a teenager in the 1970's.
Now 30+ year old men got grabbed up real quick back then.
My 69 year old sister said that women fought over the men.
Now of course back then, there were very few unwed mothers and sex out of wedlock.
The rate of marriage was much higher back then.
Almost all the kids my age had both parents, who were from the Greatest Generation.
There is a reason they were called The Greatest Generation.

I became a teen in the year 1990 and it was certainly better in the early 90's than the mid 2000's (I''m in the UK). The internet gave plain janes a vacuum or platform to meet chads whilst swatting off thousands of average guys in their league, where as back in the 90's they had to go to a disco, festival, pub etc and Chad had to approach first due to cultural norms that men pursue and women are passive.
