Okay I know I’m making this post for like 2 people max because I can’t imagine many people here have seen Saiki K I feel like it’s fairly niche but I could be wrong. I just wanted to get this off my chest.
Teruhashi is literally one of my most hated characters in all of fiction and I don’t know if there are words to express it. She represents everything I hate about women balled up into one person, if you could take every single foid trait I despise and just force in into a single human vessel, it would look like teruhashi, for everyone who’s reading this and hasn’t seen the show (like 99% of you) try looking up some clips of her to see what I mean.
She’s, conceited, arrogant, entitled, cocky, egotistical, she thinks she’s superior to everyone. She views people as insects, she’s an attention whore who gets off on being fawned over. The worse part is that she’s a snake wearing or facade of the typical shy and innocent nice girl. She doesn’t care about anyone but herself. My biggest pet peeve for women is being a narcissist and thinking the world revolves around you.
The worse part about this that makes me the angriest and what inspired this post is because in the fanbase of this show EVERYONE LOVES HER, she has almost 0 haters and people genuinely think she’s likable and will ignore everything I just said by trying to say “oh it’s just a comedy your supposed to take her seriously” “oh she’s just being confident, she has self confidence” “oh she acts like this because it’s true and she is beautiful” yuck
The truth is that if this character had all of the same personality traits and identical behavior but the only difference was that she was a MAN instead of a GIRL I promise you everyone would despise him and he would have no fans, people only give these types of personalities a pass when it’s a girl.
