I dont get wrestling

WWE and most of these wrestling events are fake
UFC has some real wrestling
Scripted play fighting that still hurts due to bumps & mistakes but is choreographed to look real with storyline like a TV opera & a dose of suspended disbelief required.
Think of any action/fighting movie production.
Ufc is fun to watch when they're standing & striking but once you get that lay on the ground straddling & squirming for dominance the entire round it's boring & gay looking.

i watched a lot of wwe and some wcw years ago. i also watch MMA. ground and pound lol is fun to watch when they know how to strike when on ground.
Nah I mean when they're like laying there trying to gain a positional advantage but it's a stalemate & they're not even punching. It's the equivalent of a boxer abusing the clinch.
