Teeth whitening

Does anyone have experience with it? I'm kind of thinking to ask my dentist for it, although im a little scared because my dentist is always rude to me and I havent gone for a couple of years. My teeth are ok but I get sometimes mogged by people my age who have much whiter teeth and I feel like it's an easy increase to your looks. So I wonder how many people here have tried it and if you have good results with it.

My teeth cannot be whitened under normal means, they would have to just rip every tooth of mine off and then replace them with dentures
