I just don't agree that picking $100 million has more objective value, I think the question is subjective to start with. Emotion shouldn't be taken out of the argument since we're not robots. If a robot with no emotion was picking which has more value then it would be $100 million, but for people who value the material goods AS WELL AS emotional connection, love etc. Then it really depends on the person choosing.
In fact we have to agree on a premise for there to be objectivity in the first place, for example. If someone says "The fact that people are starving right now is a bad thing", it would be objectively true based on everyone believing that all humans should have the same privilege of having food, water, shelter.
For you to say the $100 million answer is objectively true there has to be some basis that you're assuming all people agree on. If one person cares about the emotional side of things more, doesn't mean they're wrong.
There just isn't absolute objectivity in the first place especially with a question like this. I see this question as more of a discussion rather than there being one true answer.
Just because I acknowledged you made a good argument doesn't mean I was trying to be impartial. My response makes it very clear that I choose looks, and it's not something I was trying to hide. Yes, I see the value in the $100 mill and your argument was interesting but in the end I agree with the side that picks looks.
The point of this question is to discuss the pros and cons of both, people value things differently and so we come to different conclusions. You're saying $100 million is correct and anyone who picks anything else is wrong as if it's a mathematical question.
I didn't act like I agree with both sides, I just complimented the ideas presented by both sides but ultimately I make my own decision towards the end.

To me, the appeal of $100M is less about bling (because, to be honest, bling gets boring after a while), and more about global mobility and flexibility.
After a decade or so, depending on the markets, you might even have enough money to build a social network without dipping too much into your pot. Sizeable donations to someone's political campaign, an art museum, a research hospital, or a think tank will definitely get you an audience. No one will care about the fact that you are a framelet with a 2/10 face. Someone will kiss your ass if you hand them a 6-figure check. I understand where you're coming from. Personally, I avoid anything with too many branded logos. My experience has taught me that when a reasonably well-off ricecel or sandcel is wrapped in something tacky, the impression he gives off is "insecure subhuman", even though a Chad in the same clothing is "confident".
